易 · 工坊
Eastern stillness for modern busy minds — a small atelier making calming beads and slow-burning incense for people who want a quieter day, three minutes at a time.
易 — Yi — means change, and also ease. It is the oldest reminder in the Chinese classics: everything moves, so travel light. We put the character on our seal because it is the whole philosophy in one brushstroke — accept the busy world, keep something simple in your hand.
"Less · Breathe · Still — 少一点 · 呼吸 · 静止. Not a slogan so much as an instruction manual."
Two things, made carefully. Calming Tools — bodhi seed and crystal beads, hand-knotted into 108-bead necklaces, wrist circles and pendants. Calming Scents — sandalwood, Himalayan cedar and the old nag champa recipe, hand-rolled into slow-burning sticks. Both exist for the same reason: to give your attention somewhere gentle to land during meditation, breathwork or a plain quiet moment.
East meets atelier. We borrow the stillness of Eastern craft traditions and the discipline of a French workshop: small batches, honest materials, no shortcuts on the cord or the resin. Every finished piece receives the red seal — our mark that it left the bench the way we wanted it to.
You don't need a retreat, a cushion, or an hour. Our whole practice fits in three minutes: light one stick, hold your beads, move one bead per breath, stop when you need to. The tools are simple on purpose — the quiet is the product; we just make the handles.
Keep beads away from long soaks in water; wipe with a soft dry cloth. Bodhi seed darkens beautifully with daily handling — that patina is yours alone. Lava stone can be refreshed with a single drop of essential oil. Store incense flat, in its box, somewhere dry.
30-day returns, a 1-year craftsmanship guarantee, and a real person answering email. If a knot slips or a clasp fails, we repair or replace it — quietly and quickly.
